As long as you have the rights to work with a font, you can work with it in Pitch. To upload your custom font, simply drag the font files into an open presentation or head over to the editor or style builder and follow these steps:

First, click on the Font family drop-down menu in either the Design panel or on the left side when editing a style, and select Upload font at the top:

Next, click Choose Font(s) and upload your custom font by selecting or dragging and dropping your font files.

💡 We recommend that you upload all font variations of the same font family at once. You won’t be able to add more files to a font family, change the name, or delete your fonts later.

We try to detect font weights and styles automatically, but sometimes we get it wrong. Please double check and correct those properties in case they’re incorrect. Make sure the font name at the top and the labels are correct as well.

Click Confirm when you’re done:

Not working? If the Confirm button is grayed out, make sure you're using unique names for the font family and labels, and check for any duplicate font files with the same font weight and style. This article can help you troubleshoot common issues.

Once you’ve successfully uploaded your fonts, you’ll find them listed in the Font family drop-down menu. It is not yet possible to remove fonts, so please make sure you are uploading the correct fonts for your brand.

Supported file types

  • TrueType (.ttf)
  • OpenType (.otf)

If your font type is not currently supported, you can convert them to an accepted format in order to upload them. If you would like to use a Google Font, you can download the font and then upload it into Pitch. If there are any specific formats in addition to TrueType and OpenType that you would like to be able to upload directly into Pitch, please let us know.
