đĄ This workflow relies on setting up variables in your templates to use in presentations made from that template. For a guide on setting up variables, please read this article.
Create a deck with variables
Using Claude, you can create a presentation from an existing template with variables. Claude will fill in the values of your variables to instantly customize the deck for your use case.
In this example, we're going to create a quarterly business review deck in Pitch from call notes. We have call notes from Granola that mention the values for the variables we want to fill.
Ensure that your template has been built with variables. Click on the presentation information in the top of the template to double check.
đĄYou can also ask Claude for the details of the template you have in mind, including if it has variables, and what those variables are.
đĄ Not sure how to edit a template? Find out how in this article.
Write your prompt, being a specific as you can with your request. You can add CSV files as needed if you'd also like to update charts.
Claude creates in Pitch asynchronisly, so feel free to get on with your other tasks while it's generating. You may need to approve tasks, so circling back once or twice is a good idea.
You'll receive a summary in Claude when your task is done.
To edit your presentation, head Pitch and open up the deck, or use the link provided by Claude. You'll see the variable data that has been updated to the values from the call notes.
Edit presentations
You can continue to edit presentations using Claude, as it will connect with Pitch Agent to get things sorted for you. Feel free to keep prompting if you need to add or edit your presentation.
You can also create external sharing links for presentations. Include which advanced settings you'd like toggled on, and set an expiration date for the link if need be.
You can also use Claude to update the variables in an existing presentation by providing it with another data set.
