You've just received a link to view a deck someone you're working with or who is hoping to work with you. To your delight, the pitch is built with Pitch. You've heard great things, but have yet to experience the delight of viewing a well-crafted Pitch presentation. Here's what to expect:

Opening a Pitch link

You'll have your mind blown — but that's a given. So let's begin at the actual beginning: The link will open in your default web browser.

You may be asked for your email address, a presentation passcode, your consent to have your engagement tracked, or a combination of the three.

The person who sent you the presentation will need to give you the passcode, so be sure to check with them if you're unsure or if the one you were given isn't working.

The Pitch team does not know or have access to the passcodes for any presentation.

Once you've entered any required information, you'll be taken straight to the presentation.

You can navigate through the presentation using the arrows, slide progress bar, spacebar, or keyboard arrows. If you hover over the progress bar, you can preview the upcoming slides.

You may also be able to download a PDF copy of the presentation if the person sharing it with you has enabled this option.

Opening a link to a pitch room

If you are a client or a prospect, you may receive a link to a pitch room. This will open up a space containing everything that needs to be shared with you - slide decks, proposals, videos, documents, and more!

Opening a link to a pitch room is similar to a regular external link — it will open in your default browser. You should see your resource on the left (links to external sites, uploaded documents) and the decks you need to see on the right.

You can also click on the email address of your contact in the bottom left of the room to automatically open an email draft to them. Keeping in touch has never been easier!

Most people in the world are kind and lovely! However, some people might be going against of terms of use with their presentations. If you suspect abuse in a presentation, you can use the Report abuse option in the bottom right corner to let us know that something seems fishy (or phishy!)

Read more about what Pitch considers abuse.
