Update: The publishing beta is currently closed to new participants. Please keep an eye on What’s New for further news on presentation publishing.
What is presentation publishing?
Pitch’s presentation gallery features high-quality decks from VCs, agencies, and well known tech brands. Creators who have already joined the beta can share their latest conference presentations, pitch decks, and creative portfolios with the public. At the moment, publishing is only available to certain Pitch users in beta, but keep an eye on What’s New for further updates.
How to publish your presentation
If you’re already part of the publishing beta and have access to the feature, you can publish your latest presentation through the following steps:
Click the Share menu in the top right corner, select Publish to Pitch.com, and click Continue.
If you don’t already have a public profile set up, you will be asked to create one.
Set the public Title and Description for the presentation and click Publish. If you’d like to add it to your profile but aren’t yet ready to make it public, then you can choose Save as Draft.
Once you have clicked Publish your presentation will be added to your profile. Congratulations! You can now share this public page with others. The first time you publish you will see a screen where you can copy the link for the public page or share it to Twitter or LinkedIn. For future decks you publish, simply grab the URL from the browser window or click Share from the presentation page.
The very best presentations published to Pitch might even be added to our gallery. We’re always keen to curate beautifully designed decks on topics our community cares about, from pitch decks to thought leadership. Take a peek at some of the collections we’ve curated in our gallery for inspiration.
Making changes to your presentation
After you have published a presentation, you can edit your presentation’s Title or Description by hovering over the presentation on your public profile and clicking Edit.
Unfortunately, you cannot currently change the content of a published presentation. In this case, remove the presentation from your public profile by clicking the dots next to your published deck and click Remove, so you can update the source presentation in your workspace and then republish it.
