Skip a slide

Hide a slide to prevent it from being shown during your presentation.

You can skip a slide in your presentation by right-clicking on it in the slide navigator and selecting Skip slide.

This will skip your slide in:

  • The player

  • PDF exports

  • Public presentations

You’ll know a slide is hidden if it has an eye icon with a line through it in the slide navigator. When the slide is ready to display, you can select Skip slide again to make the slide visible.

Prefer using the quick menu? Press Command + K and type in "skip." Press Enter/Return and that will toggle the slide to hide or show it.
