There are different ways to align blocks with other elements on a slide or along our built-in guides. These are the red lines that appear when you drag a block close to the edge of the presentation, the vertical and horizontal centers of the slide, and the edges of nearby blocks:

Find the option that works best for you:

Drag blocks manually

The easiest way to align a block is to click on it, hold it, and drag it closer to the element(s) you would like to align it with. This also works with multiple blocks; simply select the blocks you want to arrange and drag them across the slide to activate guides. You can press Shift or Command to select multiple blocks at once.

Nudge using your keyboard

You can also nudge highlighted blocks along the built-in guides using your keyboard. Select the blocks you want to move and then:

If you’re using a Mac, press Command + ▲ ▼ ◄ ►

On Windows or Linux, use Control + ▲ ▼ ◄ ►

Align and distribute automatically

If you’re looking for more control of how your blocks are aligned on your slide, select multiple blocks and right-click to bring up the context menu. Choose Align or Distribute and choose your preferred option:

  • Align blocks left, center, or right.

  • Align blocks top, middle, or bottom.

  • Distribute blocks horizontally or vertically.
