How do I refer someone to Pitch?
Head to your Pitch dashboard and look for the purple gift icon in the bottom-right corner.
Click on the icon to access your unique referral link, and share it with your friends and network.
If someone you’ve referred signs up for a paid monthly or yearly Pitch account using your link, they get a discount — and you get a reward.
To claim your reward, enter your payment details via the purple gift icon in your Pitch dashboard.
What happens when someone opens my referral link?
When someone you’ve referred opens your link, they’ll land on the Pitch homepage with a banner showing your name and instructions for claiming their discount.
What is Cello?
Pitch uses Cello, a trusted third-party platform, to run its referral program. Through Cello, you can access your referral link and set up payment details so your rewards get to you quickly and seamlessly.
What rewards do I and my referrals get?
As the referrer, you’ll earn 20% of your referral’s subscription as a cash payout, up to €100 per person. Your referrals will get 20% off their first six months on a monthly Pitch plan, or 10% off their first 12 months on an annual plan.
Can I refer myself?
No, self-referrals aren’t allowed.
What notifications will I receive?
You’ll get updates through the referral widget in your Pitch workspace, as well as emails sent by Cello on Pitch’s behalf. These include an invite to start referring, a notification when someone you referred opens their referral link for the first time, and a notification when you’ve earned a referral reward. Individual notifications can’t be turned off.
How do I get paid?
Referral rewards are processed through our partner Cello and sent via PayPal or Venmo. Payments are issued within 48 hours of being earned. When you earn your first reward, you’ll be prompted to enter your payment details through the purple gift widget in your Pitch workspace. You may be asked for additional information to receive payment in certain countries.
There’s no time limit to do this — your rewards don’t expire.
Do I need to be aware of any additional tax details?
All users are subject to Cello’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to review. Referrers can receive rewards as a business and obtain invoices for tax purposes. Depending on your country of residence and local reward thresholds, you may need to provide additional taxpayer information or choose to be paid as a business by providing a VAT number.
Cello lets users download credit notes directly from the referral widget (the purple gift icon in the Pitch workspace). If you have at least one reward, you’ll see a “Tax Information” link under the rewards tab in “Update Payment Details.”
If you no longer have access to the Cello component, you can contact support@cello.so to receive your credit notes via standard support.
